Choose the SA before the crystal

• Check the blacksmith catalog for your weapon. An SA such as Health, Focus or Acumen is available only when that weapon offers it; you cannot put any SA on any weapon.
• The Soul Crystal color and stage depend on the chosen exchange. A higher-stage crystal does not necessarily substitute for the exact stage requested.
• The Blacksmith of Mammon is in Giran and Aden. His A and S menus include the compatible A and S/S80/S84 families. Review the weapon exchange and every material before confirming.
• An SA, +N enchant, elemental attribute and augmentation are different upgrades. Plan their combination on your weapon and budget each system separately.

Level Soul Crystals through the quest

• Enhance Your Weapon starts from level 40 with Jurek, Gideon or Winonin. It is the quest alternative to purchasing crystal upgrades.
• Keep the quest active and carry only one eligible Soul Crystal while leveling it. The monster must be compatible with the current crystal stage; any monster of your level will not necessarily work.
• Where the monster requires crystal activation, use it with the target at half HP or less, then kill it. At higher stages, eligible monsters and party rules can differ.
• There is no universal chance or guaranteed upgrade for killing a raid: progress and party allocation depend on the monster. Check the right target before organising a hunt.

Buying and upgrading stages in Syndicate

The Syndicate Quartermaster and ALT+B Soul Crystals entry offer an exchange route. Each upgrade consumes the previous crystal of the same color; the costs below are per step, not for an entire range.

Final check

• Check the exact weapon, desired SA, crystal color and stage, and the Adena and Gemstones requested by that exchange.
• Upgrading the crystal does not install the SA by itself. Once you have the correct crystal, return to the blacksmith and perform the weapon exchange.
