Getting there

  • In Goddard, Gatekeeper Tatiana takes you to "Entrance to the Forge of the Gods" for 10,000 Adena.
  • Go down the Forge of the Gods to Klein. Noblesse also have "Forge of the Gods, Lower Level" for one Olympiad Token.

How to enter

  • Each player talks to Klein, Watcher of Valakas, who takes 1 Vacualite Floating Stone and sends them to the Hall of Flames.
  • From there the Heart of Volcano takes you into the lair while Valakas is not fighting, up to 200 people.
  • The first entry starts a 10 minute wait. Once the fight begins, the lair closes.
  • A Vacualite Floating Stone costs 50M Adena in the Supply Shop or 35 Bound Coins in the Bound Store.

The fight

  • Valakas uses tramples, dragon breath, tail attacks, stun and fear. Below 50% HP, Meteor Storm joins his regular attacks.
  • Prepare fire resistance and avoid stacking everyone behind or in front of him: several skills cover large areas.
  • After 15 minutes without attacks the fight resets. On death a Teleportation Cubic appears for 15 minutes.

Lavasaurus and The Call of Valakas

During the fight Valakas raises motionless Lavasaurus Alpha around him, as in High Five. Klein offers The Call of Valakas daily quest from level 83: it asks for a Lavasaurus Alpha fragment and gives a Scroll: Valakas Call that takes you to Klein.

Allies in the lair

Your Allies can fight in the lair while their owner is admitted. Players carry the entry item.

Rewards

The Necklace of Valakas drops at 50%, not multiplied by the rates. Valakas counts for Dragon Trophy and Jewel of Valakas and gives 2 Bound Coins of Luck to the loot recipient. His death brings Nevit's Heralds with the Fall of the Dragon buff.

Fall of the Dragon and Nevit's Heralds

Vitality is active on L2 Syndicate, so the buff lets you farm with its bonus without spending it. Nevit's Blessing, the hunting bar, stays disabled: the buff does not turn it back on.

  • When Antharas or Valakas dies, a server-wide announcement goes out and a Nevit's Herald appears in Schuttgart, Rune, Goddard, Aden, Oren, Giran, Heine, Dion, Gludio, Gludin and Hunters Village.
  • The heralds stay for 3 hours and shout every 5 minutes. If another dragon falls while they are out, no more appear and their stay is not extended.
  • Talk to one to receive Fall of the Dragon: for 3 hours you spend no vitality. Players who already have it cannot take it again.

What the Necklace of Valakas gives

  • HP +445, P. Atk. +4%, M. Atk. +8% and physical and magical skill reuse −10%.
  • Fire resistance +15, 40% sleep resistance and attack success bonuses, and improved magical critical rate.
  • Reflects 5% of incoming ordinary melee attack damage; skill damage and ranged attacks are excluded.
