Seed of Annihilation guide

Seed of Annihilation is Gracia's level 85 hunting zone. Its three regions give a different buff to those who hunt there, and the split changes every week.

Getting there

  • Reach the Keucereus base (Gracia guide).
  • Lionel takes you to the Seed of Annihilation dock for 150,000 Adena. Klemis, Nemo and Seyo are there.
  • Klemis takes you into the seed at level 80 or higher. To leave, talk to Elmina.

What each Efficacy does

Each region, Bistakon, Reptilikon and Cokrakon, receives one of these buffs. They multiply damage against monsters; they do not raise STR, DEX or WIT and do not boost PvP damage.

  • Efficacy of Strength: +100% physical damage from ordinary attacks and direct-damage physical skills when using weapons other than bows or crossbows. Dagger blows do not receive this bonus.
  • Efficacy of Agility: +100% bow or crossbow damage, both from ordinary attacks and physical skills using those weapons.
  • Efficacy of Wisdom: +100% magical PvE damage. It suits nukers and other magical attackers.
  • The buff renews while you remain in its region. Each application lasts 60 seconds; leaving keeps only the remaining duration.

Weekly rotation and choosing a region

The three regions receive a new buff distribution every Monday at 13:00, server time. A previous distribution can repeat. Check the effect on entry and choose the region matching your party’s main damage.

Nemo, plasma and Maguen

  • Nemo gives a free Maguen Plasma Collector and lets you practise on a Wild Maguen. In the hunting zone, Elite monsters can spawn Maguens while you hunt in a party.
  • Use the collector to gather three identical plasmas or one from each region. A valid combination gives a buff and a very rare roll for a Maguen Pet Collar or Elite Maguen Pet Collar; two of one type and one of another do not harmonise.

Seyo: costs and outcomes

  • Each bet consumes Spirit Stone Fragments; this is not a guaranteed exchange shop.
  • 1 fragment: 1% chance of receiving 100; otherwise you receive nothing.
  • 5 fragments: 20% chance of receiving nothing, 60% of receiving 1, and 20% of receiving between 10 and 16.
  • 20 fragments: the 10,000-fragment jackpot has a 0.01% chance. Most rolls give 1 to 100; a small band gives only 1.

  • To the Seed of Annihilation (Kbaldir, at Keucereus, level 84): introduces you to Klemis.
  • The seed monsters give Spirit Stone Dust for How to Oppose Evil; Kirklan trades 5 for a Spirit Stone Fragment (Gracia guide).

These are PvE effects, not STR, DEX or WIT. Dagger blows do not receive the Strength bonus.
