Hellbound guide
Hellbound is the cursed island reached from Heine. On L2 Syndicate it always sits at its last stage, 11, so all of its content is open and you do not need Path to Hellbound or That's Bloody Hot to get in.

- Level 81–83
- Entry
- Warpgate, next to Heine
- Stage
- 11, everything open
- Currency
- Darion's Badge
- Bosses
- Tully, Darion, Demon Prince, Ranku, Epidos, Typhoon
Getting there
- Travel to Heine with any Gatekeeper.
- Talk to the Warpgate next to the town and choose to enter: it takes you to the island. It does not work while flying.
- You need no quest: on this server any character can enter.
The island at stage 11
The Hellbound stage is fixed at 11, the highest. Tully's Workshop, the Tower of Infinitum, the Urban Area and the Tower of Naia are open from day one. The NPCs and monsters of the earlier stages (Derek, Keltas, the Outpost Captain or the Arcane Nucleus) no longer appear.
Darion's Badges and certificates
- Darion's Badge: dropped by Junior Watchman, Junior Summoner, Blind Huntsman, Blind Watchman, the Arcane Scout, Guardian and Watchman, and the Darion's Enforcer and Executioner.
- Buron gives each piece of the native disguise for 10 badges: Native Helmet, Native Tunic and Native Pants.
- Falk gives the Basic Caravan Certificate for 20 badges if you have no certificate yet.
- Hude upgrades it to the Standard Caravan Certificate for 30 Mark of Betrayal (from the Wandering Caravan) and 60 Scorpion Poison Stinger (from the Sand and Desert Scorpion). With it, Hude sells you Caravaner's Remedy for 25,000 Adena.
- Kief trades 20 Scorpion Poison Stinger for a Magic Bottle. Use it on a Chimera below 10% health: it usually gives Dim Life Force and sometimes Life Force. On Celtus, who appears at three spots of the island, it gives Contained Life Force.
- Hude gives the Premium Caravan Certificate and the Map of Hellbound for the Standard Caravan Certificate, 56 Life Force and 14 Contained Life Force. It opens his shop of Dynasty pieces and recipes, paid with Hidden First Page, Hidden Second Page and Demon Contract Fragment.
Island quests
- Jude's Request (Jude, level 78+): the Greater Evil and Lesser Evil drop Evil Weapons. Jude gives an Icarus weapon piece for 5 and an Icarus recipe (60%) for 200.
- Matras' Curiosity (Matras): bring the Ranku and Demon Prince blueprints from the Tower of Infinitum. It gives rough ores of the six elements and unlocks Deltuva's teleport.
- Matras' Suspicious Request (Matras, level 76+): hand in Red Stones from the Steel Citadel. Every 744 stones become one Dynastic Essence II, or Matras pays 10,000 Adena each.
- Target of Opportunity (Jerian, level 82+): hunt Cosmic Scout, Watcher, Priest and Lord for Seal Breakers and Seal Components.
Tully's Workshop
The Steel Citadel holds Tully's workshop. On the sixth and eighth floors, the Sin Wardens of its rooms bring out Darion's servants and, after them, the Mysterious Agent. A Teleportation Cubic goes up to the eighth floor and the rooftop. Tully and Darion are the workshop bosses.
When Tully dies, five Ingenious Contraptions appear for 10 minutes and give a Tully medal to anyone without one, together with the Spooky Tombstone, which leads to the Anomic Foundry entrance.
To use the Spooky Tombstone, the person talking needs just one Tully medal of any type; it is not consumed. It takes that person and party members within 6,000 to the Anomic Foundry, Allies included. You do not need five different medal types in the party.
Tower of Infinitum
- Jerian takes the party into the tower: the leader asks, with everyone within 300 of them.
- The Gatekeepers of each floor move the whole party up or down; the leader asks, with everyone within 1,000.
- Demon Prince and Ranku, the bosses of Matras' Curiosity, wait on its floors.
Urban Area
- Kanaf opens Urban Area for a party leader. All members, including Allies, need level 78+ and must be within 1,000 of the leader. Players cannot already be in another instance.
- Amaskari rules inside. The Steel Citadel Keymaster drops the Key of the Evil Eye, which opens the natives' tomb; once it is used, the instance closes after 5 minutes.
Tower of Naia and Beleth
The Naia Controller takes the party into the tower. Each room is started by its Room Manager, always as a party, and lasts 5 minutes. At the top, the spore challenge ends with Epidos; when it dies, the Teleportation Cubic that leads to Beleth appears (Beleth guide).
Ring of Wind Mastery
Jude trades 200 Darion's Badges for the Ring of Wind Mastery. Equipping it protects you from the stun and launch effects of the Sandstorms near Hellbound's entrance. This is L2 Syndicate's alternative to the early-stage Native Treasure exchange, which cannot be farmed with the stage fixed at 11.
